GoDaddy - How to Change the A Record


This tutorial will show you how to change the A record for a domain name purchased through GoDaddy.

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account (http://godaddy.com).

  2. Choose Set Nameservers.

  3. Choose "I have a hosting account with these domains and click OK. If this represents a change to what you initially had, you will have to wait a few minutes for your account to update before moving on to the next step.

  4. Click "Total DNS Control".

  5. Click the edit icon for the @ A (Host).

  6. Add the IP address 173.203.104.239 to the "Points To Ip Address" box. Click OK.

  7. Wait about 30 minutes to several hours for GoDaddy to finish updating the DNS servers around the world. It could take as much as 24 hours before your domain is officially connected with your MinistryPath.com website.
